They need to rely on Zero-Trust Networks and layered permissions (Schalk et al., 2022, p. p. 355). Security should be developed beyond believing that the data link layer of the network architecture will always be secure (Schalk et al., 2022, p. 355). There should be an implementation of tools that will scan for vulnerabilities on the system. There also should be command validations that verify the commands will not harm the system or that they are not malicious.
