The satellite in space receives the commands form the ground station and executes them then sends back the data (Schalk et al., 2022, p. 352). Previous versions of satellites had customized and complex hardware that was used to transmit data throughout the satellite. New versions streamline the process by using a network bus that receives the data then transmits to other systems/hardware of the satellite, which has helped streamline the satellite manufacturing process (Schalk et al., 2022, p. 351). --- ## References 1.
