# Naivety in International Space Relations
It is the naive belief that the agreement amongst liberal democracies and those states without the means to access space will prevent the weaponization of space, when the "new axis" powers (China, Russia, Iran, North Korea) have no intention of abiding by the OST. The western countries will apt themselves on the back for naively shooting themselves in the foot. Ironically, it is the originally (and currently) Communist countries that will employ Capitalistic philosophies to space exploitation to gain the power and resources, of said exploitation that will naturally lead to exclusion in vital areas of space, whilst the capitalistic countries abide by Marxist philosophies that if space is exploited by private industry, the spoils need to be shared amongst the world, defeating the purpose of enterprise. It is because of these absurd philosophies that space development has been stunted
