In an interview, he mentioned that he developed his theories just after the end of the Cold War when it was pretty universal to be optimistic and dovish towards spacepower. Everett Dolman argues that realist geopolitics can be applied to space because the same relationships that govern outer space will be the same ones that govern Earth, therefore nations will still act in the same interests, like National Security in the space domain, thus their actions can be predicted consistently. --- # References 1.
